Hillary about to admit defeat?

I've batted for Hillary since the the Presidential nominations race of America's two main rivaling parties kicked off.

I've followed the Primary Contests; silently cheered every time she won and silently got disappointed each time she lost. I've mourned when, after her Super Tuesday victory, she ended up losing one state after another. I was confident she would make a comeback and that her party's superdelegates will throw a big chunk of support, enough to make her clinch the nomination. But Obama is un-stoppable. His fundraisings were awesome, and his campaign strategies absolutely working! And so Hillary Clinton trailed Barack Obama in the Dems' nomination contest since 1st week of April (?). She has never recovered and edged Barack in the race even though I all-the-more cheered and wished she'd still be able to nail it. She has made some impressive comeback's but so has Mr Obama. The delegate count needed is obvious to be first attained by him.

It's not over till its over, she says. But latest news from the wires today imply she's conceding defeat. Tsk tsk....

I wonder what Ca is thinking now. :) (Don't worry Ca the pustahan with Marc is whther it will be the Democrats this time or the Republicans still who'll capture the American presidency..)

I'm sure Barack Obama will rule over McCain. But I was sure with Hillary getting the Democratic nomination too. Until lately.

What am i thinking, eyom? You already know. We practically have the same sentiments when it comes Hillary.

For us, Clintonites, we are still recovering and taking our cues from the woman herself. If she's ok, then we're ok...

She seems to be in good form now, after the defeat. So that's making me happy for her na rin.

I hope she gets the veep slot, but if that does not happen, there's always tomorrow, 4 years from now. She can run again.

She's a strong woman, and very ambitious so she's not gonna give up her dreams for this one setback.

For us, Clintonites, it will always be "Go, Hillary!" We will always support her, whatever she chooses to do. She knows best.

:) Ca

P.S. By the way, Marc has conveniently forgotten that we betted on Dems vs. GOP! I had to refresh his memory quite forcefully! Hehehe

P.P.S. Good luck on ur Adsense! Baka di magtagal, sobrang yaman mo na ha! Sulat ka kaya ng something controversial? Here's to ur first million hits, eyom! Mangyayari yan! Just keep on blogging! ;) mwah!
